Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Rochester is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I havenβt physically eaten at this place but I had a friend that brought me a ginger oatmeal cookie after she ate at the restaurant. This cookie is absolutely delicious and gluten free AND nut free. It has such an amazing texture and taste that I had to reach to the restaurant to have cookies shipped to me. Andrea was such a delight and quickly helped me out. She even suggested the carrot cake cookie that is also gluten and nut free and Iβm typing this while snacking on one of the cookies. She shipped cookies to me very fast and sent a quick way for me to pay. I would highly recommend this place because they have top notch service and cookies. I hope to make it up to this area of NY someday to eat at the restaurant. Thank you so much for all your help, Andrea π«ΆπΌ

Had a great experience at Red Fern! Loved the vibeβcozy, welcoming, and just a really pleasant place to hang out. The burrito was the standout: absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The lentil burger was okayβnot bad, but didn't wow me the way the burrito did. Great vegan option overall and would happily come back. Definitely recommend it!

I normally go for the baked goods. Bar none, they have the best cake in town, vegan or not. They often have good specials (the Alfredo is amazing, as are the biscuits, and I wish both were around more). First Wednesday of the month is Wing Wednesday and it slaps. I eagerly await the pepperoni pizza wings to return. Great location and very friendly staff.

We get food from Red Fern sometimes multiple times a week, and it never disappoints. We typically get it delivered, but have eaten there several times, and the staff is always great. But the food is what truly sets them apart. Their specials are always amazing (we look forward to them every week). Our favorite regular menu items are the buffalo salad (highly recommend adding tofu and/or tempeh), the Buddha bowl, the nachos, etc. And their cheesecake is maybe the best vegan cheesecake I've ever had. I could go on, but you should stop reading this and just experience it for yourself!

This is a nice vegan restaurant in Rochester. The food leans a bit more on the "healthier" side of vegan I'd say. They have a lot of wraps, burgers, a plate option as well as many desserts. I had their version of the plate and I thoroughly enjoyed. Probably my favorite rendition of the plate as I felt I was less heavy and overall a more balance meal. Would come support when in Rochester.
